The IAFF Fallen Firefighters
Memorial is a powerful
reminder of the selfless
dedication and bravery shown
by firefighters who, throughout
their careers, face a profound
physical and emotional toll
from their work.
We invite you to join us for a meaningful and solemn occasion at the IAFF
Fallen Fire昀椀ghters Memorial in Colorado Springs, Colorado, September 20,
2025. This year, we will honor four of our
courageous Miami-Dade Fire Rescue
(MDFR) colleagues who paid the ultimate price in their service to
others: Lt. Alexander Acosta, Fire昀椀ghter James Green, Fire昀椀ghter James Hall, and Fire昀椀ghter Patrice Jarrell.
The IAFF Fallen Fire昀椀ghters Memorial is a powerful reminder
of the sel昀氀ess dedication and bravery shown by 昀椀re昀椀ghters who,
throughout their careers, face a profound physical and emotional
toll from their work. These fallen heroes represent the ultimate
consequence of a career in 昀椀re昀椀ghting, whether from the immediate dangers of the job or the long-term effects that come with a
lifetime of service.
