our Fire Rescue District is protected from being drained of resources. It means that as new apparatus are delivered and
new classes graduate, we can put more rescues and engines
into service. It means our department can grow at
a pace never before seen, driving down response
times and ful昀椀lling the promises of ISO and accreditation. And above all, it means that when someone
in Miami-Dade calls 911, help will arrive faster.

昀椀ve minutes, as quickly as possible. Every
second shaved off matters. It keeps us safer on the 昀椀reground,
and it gives us more time to save lives when they hang in the
balance.
My goal is clear: to achieve an

Brothers and sisters, this is an exciting new
chapter in our history. It belongs to all of us, active
and retired, those on the front lines and those supporting from behind the scenes. This victory was
not handed to us. It was earned through unity, persistence, and the belief that what we do every day
is worth 昀椀ghting for.
